Roseville Kids Care is a non-profit outside school hours care service that was established in 1989 to provide before and after school care and vacation care by parents of Roseville Public School.
Roseville Kids Care is governed by a voluntary committee of parents whose children attend the centre.
The Parent Management Committee’s role is to oversee and direct the service, ensuring its overall management is smooth, effective, compliant, and aligned with all relevant legislation. They must ensure that the service’s policies and procedures are consistent with current legislation and that staff have access to relevant, accurate and up-to-date information and resources.
For the purposes of the National Regulations, the Management Committee is the Approved Provider. In this role, the Management Committee is responsible for ensuring that all aspects of governance and management are clearly defined, effectively implemented and aligned with the service’s Philosophy.
The Management Committee will ensure that current copies of all policies and procedures required under Regulation 168 are readily available for inspection at the service at all times, in accordance with Regulation 171.
Roseville Kids Care strives to ensure that the service meets a high level of quality in the National Quality Framework which includes the National Quality Standards, the school aged framework My Time Our Place and the Education and Care Services National Regulations.
